Pierced and fabricated sterling hollow form and hand cut kinetic philodendron leaves. Findings (earwires, jump rings, etc.) are sterling silver. Shadowbox is finished on the interior with keum boo (gold foil). Because the shadowbox is hollow, it is relatively lightweight.
Earrings each measure 2.75" long and 1" wide at the widest part of the leaves, the shadowbox is 5/8" wide .

Each piece in the shadowbox collection features individually hand cut or ‘pierced’ silhouette imagery on the face of a hand fabricated hollow form. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the natural world, with an attempt to capture the delicate details of the subjects.
