Tiny Butterfly Shadowbox Pendant with Keum-boo
Delicate butterfly silhouette is hand cut in sterling silver with a jewelers saw, then fabricated into a hollow form and finished with keum-boo on the interior. Keum-boo is an ancient Korean gilding technique in which 23k sheets of gold foil are heat and pressure bonded to fine silver.
Pendant measures approximately 3/4” long by 5/8” wide by 1/4” deep. Hangs from an 18” sterling silver cable chain.
